Review categories, paths and estimated space before confirmation.
Clean up Windows 11 without guessing what will be deleted
Free disk space and review system maintenance tasks from one interface. RuDesk Cleaner shows the planned cleanup before it runs and keeps personal files outside automatic system-cleanup rules.
Find large files and duplicates instead of deleting blindly.
Review startup items, installed applications and available disk data.
A safer Windows 11 cleanup order
Start by closing active applications and checking free space. Review temporary data, then inspect the Recycle Bin, Downloads and large-file results. Treat duplicate detection as a review list rather than an automatic deletion command.
- Close applications before scanning
- Review temporary-file categories
- Inspect large files by location and purpose
- Confirm duplicate copies manually
- Keep a current backup of important data
Clean space without treating everything as junk
Caches and temporary files can often be recreated, but not every large or old file is disposable. Virtual machines, archives, creative projects and databases may be large for a valid reason. RuDesk Cleaner keeps discovery and deletion as separate steps.
- Documents and photos are excluded from automatic system-cleanup rules
- Selected cleanup items are rechecked before execution
- Supported scenarios can move files to the Recycle Bin
- The operation history records completed actions
Maintenance beyond cleanup
Low free space may be a symptom rather than the whole problem. Review startup items, installed applications and the disk-health indicators reported by the hardware and operating system. If a drive reports errors, prioritise backup and diagnosis over aggressive cleanup.
Frequently asked questions
Does RuDesk Cleaner support Windows 11?
Yes. The current Windows build supports Windows 11 and is distributed from the official RuDesk Cleaner page.
Will it delete documents or photos automatically?
No. Documents and photos are not part of automatic system-cleanup rules. Large files and duplicates require manual selection and confirmation.
Can cleaned files be restored?
Where the selected cleanup scenario uses the Windows Recycle Bin, files can be restored until the user empties it. Permanently deleted data cannot be recovered by the application.
